The Buildings on our Campus

The main buildings of Christ Lutheran Church reflect our continued growth.

The South Ministry Center (SMC) was built in 1992 and is the home of our Blended Service. It is actually the third sanctuary that has housed our worshippers and can hold 500 people comfortably. The layout in a semi-circular shape allows all members and guests to never be more than 50 feet away from the chancel area, which is framed with a traditional altar rail. A balcony on the west houses the pipe organ as well as serving as a choir loft.

The West Ministry Center (WMC), completed in 2009, is the home of the Room211 service. It also functions as a gym for the school and the church, and as large meeting area for celebrations, concerts, and mission events. On Sunday mornings, the room can accommodate 600 worshippers.

The North Ministry Center (NMC), built in 1963, was the second sanctuary built for our worship. After the completion of the SMC, it became the home for the Room211 experience. With its kid-friendly flooring, it now serves as the home for Christ Kids littlest ones to play safely when the weather is bad. Having the stage and screen at the east end makes it perfect for Confirmation training. It also serves as the worship home for our African Immigrant Ministries members.

The Church Office wing can be accessed from the Courtyard entrance off S 44th Street on the east, or via the Commons entrance from the west.

Christ Schools and Christ Kids are best accessed via the Sumner Street entrance on the north, the Courtyard entrance. The west entrance to the school is kept secured all days except Sunday mornings.
