Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

Types and Times of Worship

Atmosphere - Dress

It used to be that everyone wore a dress or suit when attending worship – that is not the case anymore. What do people wear at Christ Lutheran? In Blended worship, most people (although not everyone) tend to dress more formal or in business casual. On the other hand, almost all who attend Room211 worship are dressed casually; jeans and a nice shirt or top are the norm in that setting. With either service, wear what you feel is comfortable and appropriate.

What to Expect When You Visit

If you are visiting us on a Sunday morning, you should expect an atmosphere of joy and anticipation for what God is doing. You should expect lots of people, after all, God is doing something pretty special here. It is best to arrive at least 15 minutes before worship service, in order to find parking, get into the building, have a cup of coffee, and get settled in for worship. And in worship you should expect to be met by Jesus – whether that is in our more formal (Blended) setting or whether that is in our more informal (Room211) setting.

Worshipping with Kids

Christ Lutheran places a high priority on families bringing their children to worship with them. However we know that sometimes it is helpful for dad and/or mom to have a break, or for the little ones to get out some energy for all or part of a service. Therefore we provide nursery care for children age 0-3 from 9:15 am - 12:15 pm on Sundays on our Central Campus.

In addition, it is our hope that children age 2 and above attend Sunday School on a Sunday morning at 9:20 am (Central Campus) or 9:00 am (South Campus), while parents attend one of our adult Bible studies – and then families attend worship together at the 11:00 am service (Central Campus) or 10:15 am (South Campus).

Find A Small Group or Get Connected

Getting connected at Christ Lutheran is about building relationships with each other through Christ. No matter what stage of life you are in, all of us need time each week with a smaller group of people who can get to know us personally, share life with us, and encourage us to pursue Jesus Christ. Christ Lutheran offers many opportunities for fellowship, such as children, middle school, high school, & college ministries, adult ministries and fellowship groups. If you have any questions on how to become involved at Christ Lutheran, contact the church office, (402) 483-7774.
